Integrations

Works with the tools
your school already uses.

You and your students sign in with Google, Microsoft, Clever, or ClassLink. Assignments show up in Google Classroom or your LMS, and grades sync back automatically.

Alps works with any LMS that supports LTI 1.3, including Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, D2L Brightspace, and Blackboard.

Four school sign-in options, or launch from your LMS.

What each integration does

Use them together: a sign-in option for everyone, plus Google Classroom or your LMS for assignments and grades.

Sign-in

No new passwords to manage

Everyone signs in with the school account they already have and lands right where they were headed.

Google and Microsoft

Work on every plan, including the free one, with nothing to set up. If your district limits which apps students can use, IT allowlists Alps once.

From your LMS

Open Alps from your course in Canvas or any LTI 1.3 LMS, already signed in.

Clever and ClassLink handle sign-in only. Class rosters come from Google Classroom, your LMS, a join link, or bulk import.

Google Classroom

Your assignments, in Google Classroom

Link your Alps class to a Classroom course, and your roster comes in. From then on, coursework you create in Alps shows up in Classroom automatically, with a link back to Alps.

  • Students click the assignment in Classroom and land right on it, signing in first if needed
  • Resync list brings in roster changes from Classroom
  • Coursework made before you linked the course is sent only when you edit or resync it
Coursework you create in a linked class is published to Google Classroom.
Grades

Grades sync back automatically

Alps sends each score to Google Classroom or your LMS for you. There’s nothing to click or schedule.

  • Scores go back when a student submits and when AI grading finishes
  • Scores you change go back too
  • Sync runs one way, from Alps. A grade edited in the LMS is replaced the next time Alps sends one

See how grading works

The assignment is synced. Each graded student shows a check once the LMS accepts the score.
LTI 1.3

Connect your LMS once for the whole school

Alps works with any LMS that supports LTI 1.3. A school admin sets it up once for every teacher.

In the course

  • Assignments you publish in Alps after linking become gradebook columns, and scores go back automatically
  • Teachers and students open Alps from the course link, already signed in
  • Teachers link the course to an Alps class the first time they open Alps from it
  • Students join the class the first time they open it, and Resync list adds the rest of the course

Bulk import

Set up a whole school from a Google Sheet

A school admin adds every class, teacher, and student at once from the Alps Google Sheet template. Bulk import comes with the District and Campus Licenses.
