For publishers and authors
The exercises already in your book become work students do on the page and get graded on, in the language your book teaches. We do the conversion. You don’t write anything new.
Students work each exercise right on the page and get it checked. The score goes to the teacher’s gradebook like any other activity.
Your text stays as you wrote it. Only the exercises change.
Printed exercises from a Java textbook, turned into activities on Alps.
What each title gets depends on what’s in it, from interactive exercises to adaptive hints.
Readings, runnable examples, and auto-graded checks on the same page.
See itOn titles with adaptive hints, hard problems break into steps. Hints never give the answer.
See itWhen a student struggles, the puzzle gets simpler. Some titles also have hints written for each problem.
See itOn titles set up for it, Alps groups students by mastery and assigns practice for the gaps.
See itStudents find explanations and practice across every book in their class, in their own words.
See itPython, Jupyter, C++, SQL, and a cyber range on any Chromebook, with nothing to install. Teachers can replay each student’s work.

Send the teacher version alongside the student one and Alps keeps them apart. Teachers open the chapters you marked for them; students never see those units in their table of contents, in an assignment picker, or in search.
The same book, opened by a student and by their teacher.
Everything above happens either way. The only difference is how a school gets it, and you can choose differently for each title. Publishers on Alps today do both.
A teacher previews your book in the Library, clicks Purchase License, and gets a quote for their own sections in about a minute. The school pays the invoice, with no sales rep in the middle.
Publishers do this with a lead title, a backlist book, or an older edition. Same shelf, same conversion, and any teacher can start a class with it.
A class on Alps can run more than one book, so a department that won’t switch to your title outright can still take the chapters it wants, beside whatever it teaches now. Every student in that section is licensed for it. See how mixing works.
Clear terms for publishers and authors.
You keep ownership of your book. Alps doesn’t claim it.
Your repository and files stay as they are. We make any import fixes in our own copy.
We never sell student data. We don’t share anything that identifies a teacher or student with publishers or authors.
Hints and solutions are marked as the author’s or as ours, so a teacher can always tell which is which.
Send the title, the source files, and who it’s for.
We handle the import. You don’t reformat anything.
Keep it private while you review it, so only you can open it.
Teachers find it in the Library and add it to a class.
Send us what you have and we’ll tell you how it would work on Alps, and what it would take.
